Privacy policy
Your chart data
Everything you plot — files you drop in, cells you edit, figures you export — is processed client-side, inside your browser tab. There is no upload, no account, and no server that ever sees your data. Saving a project (.figgy) writes a file to your own disk.
Browser storage
figgy keeps a few preferences in your browser's localStorage: the theme you picked and any chart style presets you saved. They never leave your machine, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Feedback you send
If you submit the feedback form, we store exactly what the form shows — a title, your message, and an email address only if you choose to give one — in Google Firebase (Firestore), so we can read it and, if you left an email, reply. It is used for nothing else and is never shared. To have a submission deleted, send a feedback note asking for it.
Third-party resources
Pages load fonts and libraries from content delivery networks (Google Fonts, jsDelivr, SheetJS, Google Firebase). Your browser requests those files directly, so those services see your IP address and user agent the way any web server does, under their own privacy policies. The site is served through Cloudflare.
Advertising
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense to keep figgy free. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites:
- How Google uses ad cookies: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- Opt out of personalized ads: adssettings.google.com
Visitors in regions that require it (such as the EEA and UK) are shown a consent prompt before any ad cookies are set.
What we don't do
No analytics scripts, no accounts, no tracking of what you plot. Ad cookies are the only cookies this site can cause to exist, and the feedback form is the only thing that writes to a server.
